Advanced Beginner/Intermediate
Ages 12+
Everyone loves an adorable turtle! In this class, I will share my top-secret steps on how to make one of my famous needle-felted turtles. Follow along with me as you make one for yourself. I'll be there for any help, tips, or advice you may need along the way. Please note: This class is for those who already know the basics of needle-felting. If you haven't needle-felted before, I recommend taking my class 'Needle-Felting for Relaxation' first.
Since I can spend upwards of a week on some of my turtles, please note that you may not finish your turtle during class time. But, I'll send you home with all the know-how you need to finish it on your own time!
Please bring:
- your own felting needles like these
- a wool pad like this one or this one
- or a basic tools kit like this one
You may also choose to bring:
- your own wool roving in the colors you'd like for your turtle (I like to purchase my wool roving at StevenBe)
Materials Provided:
- wool roving in a variety of colors
- felting core wool
- extra felting needles
- foam pads

Classes are located at Mary Pow's studio in NE Minneapolis. Directions and parking instructions will be emailed prior to class.
Withdrawals
If you need to withdraw from the class, please email Mary Pow at [email protected]. If your withdrawal request is received at least 10 days before the start of your class, you are eligible to receive a refund (minus a $25 processing fee). Refunds will be issued to the same form of payment that was used to purchase the class. If your withdrawal request is received less than 10 days before the start of your class, no refunds will given; however, you may transfer your class spot to another person.
Cancellations
If minimum enrollment is not met one week before class, I reserve the right to cancel. In this case, you will receive a full refund.
Minimum enrollment for this class is 4 people.
