One of the most beautiful gardens I've ever visited is the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. This painting comes from some of the many photos I took on my visit.

A NOTE ABOUT PASTEL
Unlike most types of painting, pastel is a dry medium. It is pure powdered pigment in the form of a stick, allowing it to have a close association with drawing.
