Don't Count the Days
This has become one of my favorite paintings. At first I didn't know what I thought; it came from deep emotions and it was scary to put that on public display. Now, with distance, I see it for what it is and I love it... the colors, the movement, and the looseness. It feels powerful to me.

A NOTE ABOUT PASTEL
Unlike most types of painting, pastel is a dry medium. It is pure powdered pigment in the form of a stick, allowing it to have a close association with drawing.
A NOTE ABOUT FRAMING
Pastel paintings need to be framed behind glass and handled with care to prevent damages. Professional framing is best, ideally with museum quality glass.
